Entry: And The Winner IS! September 23, 2003

...Not me, apparently. Damn. I was told however that I aquitted myself brilliantly at my interview, impressing them with my technical knowledge, design skills and shining personality... However, they decided to select a candidate with a background in graphic design and no HTML knowledge. Ah well, back to the drawing board.

To summarise my feelings on the matter, refer below.

Bogosity is measured with a bogometer; in a seminar, when a speaker says something bogus, a listener might raise his hand and say "My bogometer just triggered". More extremely, "You just pinned my bogometer" means you just said or did something so outrageously bogus that it is off the scale, pinning the bogometer needle at the highest possible reading (one might also say "You just redlined my bogometer"). When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one person to respond on a blog which connects them with another among the powers of the Computer, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Telecommunications and the Internetís Rules entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to respond.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all blogs are not created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Qualiities, that among these are use of personal little tibits of Life, the spewing of the mind at great Liberty, and the Happiness of knowing that any opinion whatsoever is spread across the world and may solicit a response.

Such is the nature of a blog. And to alleviate the patient sufferance of this WebBlogger let the Facts of this response be submitted to a candid world.
